Dust Control
Dust control helps preserve a soil body’s integrity by keeping its surface intact. ROAD-HARD preserves natural compaction by adhering to soil particles and binding them so they remain on the ground. The result is a dramatic reduction of dust, far less natural erosion from wind and rain, and less soil pollution in waterways and populated areas. ROAD-HARD provides a stable surface area that also helps control erosion.
- Improves air quality for better visibility and health
- Addresses EPA’s PM 10 compliance standards.
- Prolongs the life of machinery and equipment
- Reduces maintenance repair costs.
Application: ROAD-HARD Dust Control is typically applied at 1/4 inch depth for dust control. The treated soil particles are bound by the polymer with some flexibility. Deeper beds of dust will require more product.
- Apply 1/4 inch dry ROAD-HARD® polymer with a drop spreader and blend into the soil.
- Wet the polymer with ROAD-HARD® additive dissolved in water, compact, and allow to dry.

Value Proposition:
Detailed cost comparisons show real savings using ROAD-HARD for dust control vs. applying water to a designated area 2x per day over a period of 60 days.
